Sushant Singh Rajput death: Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM of Maharashtra, reveals some key evidence has come to the fore | Hindi Movie News
About three years ago, Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode. While he allegedly died by suicide, his fans always suspected foul play. The issue eventually snowballed so much that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was handed over the case for proper inquiry. However, there had been no substantial progress on the case, until now. However, now, in an interview with a news channel, the Deputy CM of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis has made new revelations on the case.
In the interview he mentioned that at first, the information available was based on hearsay, then some people asserted that they have substantial evidence with regards to the case. These people were then contacted and were asked to submit the evidence to the police.
Fadnavis also added that the authorities are in the process of examining the credibility of the evidence submitted and investigation is still in progress, and it would be too premature for him to make any comments on the outcome of the case.
At the time of his death, Sushant’s then girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty ended up spending nearly a month in jail on drug charges related to his death.
