Jays Care Foundation searching for winner of $2.9M jackpot

The Jays Care Foundation is trying to find the winner of April’s massive 50/50 jackpot.

The charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays tweeted on Monday the winning number and the prize money, which totals just shy of $2.9 million.

On Tuesday, the foundation sent out another tweet to announce the prize remains unclaimed. The winner, according to the Jays Care Foundation, purchased 250 tickets for $100 in-stadium between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on April 11 — the day of the Blue Jays’ home opener.

The owner of the winning ticket — No. 2051048083 — is urged to contact [email protected].
