Health Minister Mansukh Mandvia has asked the ministry officials to share their thoughts on how to honor the Kovid-19 warriors during the 100 crore dose completion celebrations. These cowardly warriors include those who lost their lives while performing their duties. According to NDTV, India will achieve this target by Monday or Tuesday next week.
The number of vaccinations crossed 96 thousand
According to the latest figures, Covid-19 vaccination has crossed 96.78 crore (96,78,08,545) in India. More than 32 lakh (32,36,997) vaccines have been administered till 7 pm on Wednesday.

After the number of vaccinations in the country reached 95 crore on October 10, the health minister had praised India and said that India would soon reach the milestone of 100 crore vaccinations.
Vaccination begins January 16
The nationwide vaccination campaign was launched on January 16 in the first phase with the vaccination of health workers (HCWs). Vaccination of frontline employees against Covid-19 began on 2 February.

The next phase of Covid-19 vaccination was started on March 1 for other diseases aged 60 years and above and for people 45 years and older. The country started vaccinating all people over the age of 45 from April 1. The government then decided to expand the vaccination campaign by allowing everyone over the age of 18 to be vaccinated from May 1.
